We never know how far reaching something we may think, say or do today will affect the lives of millions tomorrow
—B.J. Palmer

Our world is changing at such an incredible rate that the old saying, "It's a small world" becomes more true with each passing day. World population now exceeds 6 billion and more than 500 million international flights are made each year. These factors, combined with the growing global problem of antibiotic resistant bacteria, all mean that the health status of people in other parts of the world now has direct implications for you, your family and your community.(1-3)

Where does good health come from? A recent study found that life expectancy in much of the world has doubled in the last 100 years and that 85% of the increase in length of life was due to lifestyle-related factors. Moreover, all of modern medicine's interventions together account for less than 15% of that increase.(4) In commenting on such observations Rene Dubos, in his book, Mirage of Health, states, "When the tide is receding from the beach it is easy to have the illusion that one can empty the ocean by removing water with a pail."(5) In fact health and being your best have little to do with medical intervention but everything to do with you, your beliefs and the incredible inborn intelligence within you.
The truth is that health
comes from within you. At any given moment your incredible inborn intelligence is coordinating millions of processes simultaneously as it adapts to the ever changing circumstances of your life.
So.....chiropractic is not only a means to ensure that the health of your spine and nervous system; it is also a way of life. The chiropractic lifestyle encompasses many factors for those who are interested in being their best and reaching their optimum: an appropriately balanced diet, regular exercise, minimizing stress and developing a positive mental attitude are all part of maintaining a subluxation free spine and a fully functioning nervous system. Chiropractic is a philosophy of health which respects and works with the body's inborn intelligence and offers much toward the challenges which lie ahead for our global village. Doctor Krey aims to see you journey through life in a state of well-being, far removed from requiring the use of drugs and surgery. In sharing the chiropractic message with all those in your community, it is Dr. Krey's objective to raise the awareness, sensitivity and consciousness of society as humankind evolves toward fulfilling its potential.

Who in your community might benefit from chiropractic care?
Whether you are a mother, or a newborn, a child entering a new growth spurt, a student preparing for exams, or an accountant who has just survived another tax season, your spine is susceptible to spinal subluxation. Anyone who has teeth should periodically have a dental checkup. And in fact it is even more vital for anyone who has a spine to regularly see a chiropractor!
The sooner other people in our lives —our family, friends, and community understand the principles underlying a healthy, chiropractic lifestyle, the sooner they can better contribute towards providing the kind of happy, healthy environment we all want our children to grow up in. We should share this message with all those who cross our paths whilst keeping in mind the realization that you never know how far reaching your thoughts, words, and actions may be.
